Goodwood Stud provided the headline act during the National Broodmare Sale when So Divine topped the session.
The winning High Chaparral mare, who has yet to go to stud, was also Gr 3 placed in the Manawatu Classic.
Out of the Star Way mare Argante, So Divine is a sister to the Gr 1 VRC Derby and Spring Champion Stakes winner Monaco Consul.
It is also the family of the Gr 1 Australian Guineas winner and sire Military Plume and Singapore Gr 1 winner Con Air.
Goodwood presented So Divine to a keen buying bench and she was knocked down for $130,000 to Queensland agent John Foote.
“We were pretty confident that she would make around that figure,” William Fell said.
“She’s very well-related and we were certainly happy to have her in our draft.”
Goodwood also enjoyed a top result during the weanling sale with a Startcraft filly that made $51,000.
She is the first foal of the Listed Strutt Stakes winner Cabazon, a daughter of Redoute’s Choice, who has also second in the Tasmanian Oaks.
