Semper Plus posted the fifth victory of her career with a solid performance at Ashburton yesterday.

The Howbaddouwantit mare got home narrlowly but well under Hayden Tinsley for John and Karen Parsons.

The Goodwood Stud graduate is out of the Star Way mare Grandiose who won twice before retirement.

She has done a good job at stud as the dam of five winners, including the stakes performer Fantastic Angel.

Semper Plus hails from a famous Fell family founded by the Gr 1 Railway Handicap winner Ajasco.
