Bold Railway Effort From Jetset Lad
01 Jan 2013

Jetset Lad earned a second Group One credit when he hit the line strongly for second in today’s Railways Stakes at Ellerslie.

The Goodwood Stud graduate had previously finished in the money at the highest level in the Easter Handicap and the Thorndon Mile.

The five-year-old also has Listed Eye Liner, Tatt’s Mile and Glasshouse Handicap placings in Australia to his credit.

Trained by John Wheeler, Jetset Lad settled back in the Railway field and powered home for his runner-up finish.

By Elusive City, he is out of the winning Jetball mare Jetset Lass, who is a half-sister to Singapore Gr 3 winner Sky Frontier.

It is also the family of the dual Gr 1 Underwood Stakes and Doomben Cup winner Perlin.
