Double for Howbaddouwantit

The versatile nature of Howbaddouwantit’s progeny was well-illustrated at Wingatui this afternoon with a winning double.

His daughter Semper Plus backed up there to good effect with an open sprint success to follow her Saturday victory.

Bred by Goodwood Stud, who stand Howbaddouwantit, she has now won on tracks ranging from good to dead.

Semper Plus settled off the pace at Wingatui before rider Terry Moseley angled her wide at the top of the straight.

The four-year-old came with a sustained finish to popst the eighth win of her career for trainers John and Karen Parsons.

The husband and wife team had earlier in the day sent out another Howbaddouwantit mare to win.

Livana capped off two recent runner-up finishes to claim the Rating 75 metric mile.
