Goodwood celebrates winning double
16 May 2013

The good times continue to roll at Goodwood Stud with further success on the home and away fronts.

Resident sire Howbaddowantit has a rising star in Authentic Paddy while Lee Ho Fook is impressing in Australia.

A Goodwood-bred son of Savabeel, Lee Ho Fook opened his account on the Sunshine Coast with a stylish display.

The three-year-old has been patiently-handled by Brian Smith and had placed in three of his previous four starts.

The colt is out of the Oregon mare Party Belle, the winner of six races and stakes placed in Australia.

It is the family of a former Queensland carnival star Finezza Belle, the dual Group Two winner of the Grand Prix Stakes and Sir Byrne Hart Stakes.

Meanwhile, the Lisa Latta-trained Authentic Paddy won his second race with a strong effort at New Plymouth at the weekend.

The Howbaddouwantit colt has fashioned an excellent record with a further six placings from seven outings.

His only unplaced effort was a close sixth in last season’s Listed Ryder Stakes at Otaki.
