Goodwood Stud graduate Vantage opened his account in Singapore last night with his maiden victory at Kranji.

Trained by Shane Baertschiger, the four-year-old won over 1900 metres in the hands of John Powell.

In doing so, he credited the former Goodwood resident Chinese Dragon with his first winner in Singapore.

Vantage was originally sold by the farm at the Select Sale at Karaka in 2011 for $30,000.

He is out of the winning Istidaad mare Mavis Davis who is from a well-performed international family.

It has produced stakes winners in England, North America and Germany.
