Bright staying future for View
17 Oct 2013

Howbaddouwantit’s son View looks a horse to follow in the coming months after posting his maiden win at Woodville today.

The four-year-old was making only his fourth appearance and had weighed in at all his previous appearances.

Co-trainer Matt Dixon said the gelding had been expected to show his best form once he was stepped up in distance.

View was placed in his first attempt over ground at Wanganui and showed his true worth this afternoon with a dominant victory.

Bred and raced by Christopher Grace, he is out of the Yachtie mare Prada and the family of the Gr 1 Telegraph Handicap winner Morar.

Another notable performer in View’s pedigree is Gr 3 Manawatu Cup winner, who also raced in the Grace colours.
