Cry Havoc strikes again
11 Nov 2013Exciting Cry Havoc continued his progress through the grades in New South Wales yesterday. The three-year-old son of Savabeel has now won his last two starts on his home track at Goulburn, where he is prepared by Danny Williams.
The Goodwood Stud graduate began his career at Cambridge with Tony Pike and Mark Donoghue and ran sixth in his only start for them on the Sunshine Coast. He was purchased by Pike out of the Palmerston North farm’s 2012 Select Sale draft at Karaka for $110,000.
Cry Havoc is out of the winning Redoute’s Choice mare Diagonal and is from a family that has prospered at Group One level in Australia. It includes Tristanagh (VRC Oaks, 1000 Guineas) and Dupain (Brisbane Cup).
