Weekend trebble for graduates
11 Nov 2013

Desi Girl completed a good weekend for Goodwood Farm graduates with success at Hastings yesterday.

Her victory followed the win of the promising three-year-old Cry Havoc in New South Wales on Sunday.

Desi Girl has been in strong form this preparation with two placings from her previous three appearances.

A six-year-old by Keeper, she is out of the Jetball mare Flash, who is a half-sister to the former top galloper Allegro.

He won nine races, including the Waikato Draught Sprint, Captain Cook Stakes and the Otaki-Maori WFA at the top level.

It is also the family of the former NZ Horse of the Year and Zabeel and NZ Classic and Kelt Capital Stakes winner  Vosne Romanee.

Also the Rex Fell part owned mare Gold Cape made her debut win on the sunshine coast on Saturday for trainer Paddy Busuttin.
