Howbaddouwantit four-year-old View continued his smart progress at Awapuni on Saturday with another solid staying performance.

The lightly-raced chestnut had weighed in at all his previous five starts, including a maiden success at Woodville.

Ridden by Hayden Tinsley, View took the step to Rating 65 company in his stride at the weekend.

He sat outside the leader to the turn before taking control and fought back resolutely after being headed to win on good style.

View is trained at Foxton by David Haworth and Matt Dixon for his breeder Christopher Grade.

The gelding is out of the Yachtie mare Prada and the family of Morara (Gr 1 Telegraph Handicap) and Tullaroan (Gr 3 Manawatu Cup).
