Central District stallion and yeanling parade this Sunday
29 Aug 2014ALL are welcome to the annual parade around Central Districts farms, to view resident stallions, and some lovely sales bound yearlings. This years event will take place on Sunday 31st August
This year will see the parade shifting into the morning, concluding with a gathering of breeding and racing enthusiasts at Hotel Coachman in Palmerston North. Our hosts have put together a two course lunch menu plus a beverage for $40pp. There is no need to confirm prior if you want lunch. At this long overdue social event, we will also present our Broodmare of the Year Award for the 2013/2014 season.
The itinerary is as follows.
10.00 Fairdale Stud
Parading Nom de Jeu and Fully Fledged, plus weanlings by both stallions
10.45 Goodwood Stud
Parading Howdaddouwantit plus weanlings by Ifraaj, Pins, Darci Brahma and Pentire
11.30 Highden Park
Parading weanlings by Per Incanto, Road to Rock, Rip van Winkle, Rios, Nom de Jeu, Pour Moi and Guillotine
12.30 Wellfield Lodge
Parading Alamosa, Road to Rock, and Handsome Ransom
1.30 Hotel Coachman
Well earned drink, beautiful lunch, and a great chance to socialise with fellow breeding/racing enthusiasts!
