Dream Run back in winning touch
13 Feb 2015A change of approach with Dream Run saw the three-year-old back to her best this afternoon.
The daughter of Pins reacted well at Te Aroha to a change of riding tactics and a gear addition.
Dream Run sat on the pace in the Rating 65 mile and bolted clear in the straight for a commanding victory.
“Three times we’ve ridden her cold and three times she’s taken no part,” co-trainer Kris Shailer said.
“The blinkers have sharpened her up and she’s a filly we’ve always had a lot of time for.”
Bred and co-owned by Goodwood Stud, Dream Run is out of the Redoute’s Choice mare Run Brony Run.
She comes from the top stallion family of Flying Spur and Holy Roman Emperor.
