In Flight continues his winning ways
13 Sep 2015Rising sprinting star In Flight hung tough this afternoon to add to his formidable record at Ruakaka.
The Goodwood Stud graduate fought off all challenges in the straight to win his way through to the top grade.
“I’m very pleased with him and I think that was one of his better wins,” co-trainer Donna Logan said.
“He was travelling a bit keenly across the top and he dug deep. I’m very lucky to have him.”
In Flight has now won five races, all on his home course, from just 11 lifetime appearances.
A son of Fully Fledged, he was sold as a yearling at Karaka by Goodwood for $23,000.
In Flight is out of the Centaine mare Gypsy Rose and is from the family of the Gr 1 Epsom Handicap winner Rock Kingdom.
