Bright future tipped for Arraignment
10 Oct 2015

The best is yet to be seen of Nom du Jeu’s son Arraignment, according to trainer Danica Guy.

“I’ve always had a lot of time for this horse,” she said. “He’s a nice horse who will continue to get better.”

Arraignment also showed the benefit of a gear addition when he opened his winning account at Matamata today.

“He found the track to his liking and the blinkers really helped him,” Guy said.

“He relaxed beautifully in the hood and it was a great ride as well.”

Danielle Johnson had Arraignment tracking the pace on the fence and they finished well in the straight for an easy victory.

Bred by Goodwood Stud, he was a $40,000 purchase from their Select Sale draft to Karaka last year.

Arraignment is out of Bail Us Out, a half-sister to the Gr 1 Sydney Cup winner Honour Babe.
