Goodwood looking to continue St Ledger success
12 Mar 2016The Goodwood bred mare Jonquil becomes a serious St Ledger hope with a dominant win in the Vets on Riverbank 75 2100 at Otaki. Jonquil the Sakhee Secret mare is coming of age, notching her third win in only her thirteenth start. Jonquil is out of Spring Dancer who is a half sister to Oaks winner Daffodil.
Goodwood Stud has a rich history in the St Ledger breeding the 2013 winner Serpeant and owning the 2015 winner Iffwedance.
