Promising Nicoletta gets deserved win.
22 Dec 2016At just her forth start the Murray Baker and Andrew Forseman trained Nicoletta breaks out of maiden ranks at the Tauranga race meeting yesterday, in the fashion of the field Japan cup maiden mile.
The progressive three year old filly had been knocking at the door in her prior three runs and proved too good when holding off the older opposition in the hands of Danielle Johnson.
Nicoletta was bred by Goodwood Stud. She is by Savabeel and out of America Listed winning mare Celtic Crown. She was purchased by Bruce Perry at the 2014 Karaka select sale for $90,000.
