Talented Gifted Lad makes his mark again
15 Feb 2017Gifted Lad has wasted no time in making an impact in his second stint with Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young.
The Goodwood Stud graduate was a winner at Sale yesterday for the now Cranbourne-based trainers.
Gifted Lad began his career with them at Cambridge and posted two victories and a Listed placing in the VRC Leger.
He subsequently suffered a tendon injury and following a lengthy break he joined Garry Alton’s operation.
After a placing from a handful of starts he crossed the Tasman again and promptly banked $A12,650 for his connections yesterday.
A son of Zabeel, Gifted Lad is out of the More Than Ready mare Gifted Lass – also the dam of the dual Group Two winner Serena Miss.
