Goodwood celebrates Grand Prix victory
27 May 2017Top Gr.1 Queensland Derby prospect Order Again completed a near perfect day at Eagle Farm this afternoon for Goodwood Stud.
Zambezi Warrior was a close second in the Gr.3 Premier’s Cup before fellow farm graduate Order Again went one better.
The Brian Smith-trained son of Iffraaj further enhanced his classic hopes when successful in the Gr.3 Grand Prix Stakes.
“He’s got to step up again in the Derby, but he’s going the right way,” rider Larry Cassidy said.
“He’s still improving and he will take great benefit from this race.
“All credit to Brian Smith and his staff, they’ve done an unbelievable job with this horse.”
Order Again was bred by Goodwood with Cam and Chas Stewart, who race the gelding.
He is out of Glass Half Full, who is a half-sister to their Gr.2 Brisbane Cup winner and Group One placegetter Jetset Lad.
