Goodwood earns Breeder of Year nomination
01 Aug 2017Goodwood Stud’s outstanding 2016-17 season has been acknowledged at the New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing awards.
The Palmerston North farm is a finalist in the race for the New Zealand Breeder of the Year title.
Goodwood’s achievements were highlighted by the their Group One New Zealand Derby and Rosehill Guineas winner Gingernuts.
The son of Iffraaj, who also won the Gr.2 Avondale Guineas, is out of Double Elle, who is a finalist for the NZ Broodmare of the Year Award.
Goodwood also bred the Gr.3 Desert Gold Stakes winner Nicoletta and the Gr.3 Grand Prix Stakes winner Order Again in partnership with C & C Stewart.
