06 Feb 2018All In Vogue successfully defended her WCM Legal Wairarapa Cup (2050m) title at Tauherenikau this afternoon.
In between times, she has boosted her future value with a Listed win in the Wanganui Cup (2040m).
“We’ve looked after her and placed her right, she’s going to be a lovely broodmare,” trainer Kevin Gray said.
All In Vogue was given a good run behind the pace by stable apprentice Holly Andrew and once they were into the clear they finished too well for Dr Watson.
“We got a nice sit behind the speed and she was too good,” Andrew said. “She’s a lovely, well-bred mare.”
Bred by Goodwood and Fairdale Studs, the daughter of Pins was a $50,000 Karaka purchase in 2014.
She is a daughter of the Kaapstad mare Tall Poppy, a three-timer at the highest level.
